Warm yourself up with the delicious spices of mulled wine. Served either hot or frozen the mix of cinnamon, cloves and allspice is bound to make the wintery season a little more enjoyable.
Just add a simple red table wine straight into the bag, top it off with water, shake, and freeze for a frozen cocktail or try it with hot (not boiling) water for those cold days!
We are fond of all types of mulled wine, especially Guglwein at Christmas Markets in Germany. This year during the holidays we tried Lt. Blender’s Mulled Wine in a bag (with Merlot) and found it to be the closest we have found to Gulhwein. It had just the right blend of flavors and was easy to heat up (but it was just as good cold). We ordered two more bags after our first cupfuls, knowing that we won’t want to wait for the next holiday season to have more!
